For the first time, CrossFire Stars Invitational is going to Manila.  The best teams from Brazil, China, Vietnam and the Philippines will battle it off in the finals at the SMX Convention Hall.  This is the change for the Philippines to finally show the world how  esports is done here.

What is CrossFire Stars Invitational: Manila?

CrossFire Stars Invitational: Manila or CFS INVITATIONAL was created to expand tournaments within CrossFire to bring enjoyment to global fans.  This event is a partnership between game developer Smilegate and esports organizing body ESL.

Philippines as an eSports Hub

Considering previous worldwide eSports event hosted in Manila, the Philippines is becoming a global hub for worldwide gaming competition.  It had shown that the eSports crowd in the country is indeed sizable and even larger than other countries.

This is CFS Invitational's maiden voyage and will be from October 15-16 at SMX  Convention Center Hall 3.  A total of 30,000 USD prize pool will be at stake.  Players from China, Vietnam, and Brazil will be flying over to the Philippines, where they get to experience firsthand the roar of Philippine CF fans

Pacific Macta will be representing the Philippines in the event.  This team emerged as the winner of the 2016 PH CrossFire Elite League.  Will they be able to win and defeat the other teams?  That remains to be seen.
